I designed this march 5th (2007) during my India history class, cause the teacher has a tendency to go off topic.
I had oriental/middle eastern carpets in mind when I was doodling, and also some black and grey tribal embroidery I've seen somewhere (but I don't remember which culture).
Made in peyote with black and translucent rainbow grey Delicas. It took about 7 1/2 hours to make.

Very nice. I love the patterning and how it has a 3D layered look.
